This animation shows the Moon passing directly in front of the Earth as seen from the EPOXI spacecraft. The "red" is actually infrared.

I stamp some cold black rings onto my scalp. L3/Raytheon TSC "Thermal Eye" camera found used on eBay. I filmed this by aiming my mpeg cam at the video screen (with reflected windows & outdoors.)>
